Our Design Process
Our design department will work with you to determine what your home will look like. Think about the placement of windows, natural light and views. How many times has a home been built on a site with a great view to a lake or open space with no view; an opportunity that if captured would not only have added value to the home, but value to daily living. Once we have a clear idea of style, layout and size, we’ll have a ‘road map’ of how to develop and build the home of your dreams.
Things To Consider
To start, you should think about the overall layout of your new home. How many bedrooms do you want..? Do you want the master suite separated from the secondary bedrooms..? Consider your daily routine and look for spaces that will help keep your life more organized.
These are a sample of lifestyle questions we’ll answer with you:

- How much entertaining does your family do?
- Is your bedroom a place to sleep or your own private get-away?
- Do you work out of your home and need an office?
- Does the home computer need to be in a location where children can be supervised?
- What would you like to improve from your current home? What do you love about it?
- Is it a move-up house for you and your kids or is it a down-size house to enjoy your retirement?
- How many rooms will satisfy your needs?
- Will there be an elderly person who might be living with you at some point?
- How do you spend your time in the evenings?
- Is there a gourmet cook in the family?
- How often do you use a formal dining room and do you have a special-sized dining room table?
- Is it a move-up house for you and your kids or is it a down-size house to enjoy your retirement?
- How many rooms will satisfy your needs?
- How do you want to handle the informal eating?
- Will there be an elderly person who might be living with you at some point?
